David McCandless makes infographics. These simple, elegant ways to see information boil down the too complex or too big, small, abstract or scattered to otherwise be grasped by most ( at least while just looking at it with out being bias or being in an information overload).
Also his topics are sometimes quite comical. McCandless's work is if the Processing diagrams of Casey Reas and Ben Fry where frozen in space and time.
